Hi, I bought a couple of 2nd Hand L2L47EA#ABU All in One PC 27" from an auction site, and also purchased an HP 130W PSU for them.
I also get the dreaded 3 long 4 short Beeps for 5 times, then get the error of Unsupported Adapter installed.
I can get the system to boot up by pressing ESC and F1 then F2 after the "Beeps" and everything works fine.
I've heard that the PSU needs to be a "special tipped one ?"
Is this true?
I took out the WiFi adapter and Hard Drive but it still did the same.
Another issue I have with the other computer, apart from the "Beeps" is that the UEFI ( or is it the NVME?) isn't recognised so I can't run the OS from it, anyone got any ideas?
I tried another SSD module in it, but still no response.
Would appreciate a solution.
Thanks
Kenny

Hi, Kenny:
Below is the link to the parts list for your PC.
681058-002 | Power Supply - EPS 2.0, 150W, 19.5V/89% eff |
It doesn't seem that a 130W P/S furnishes enough power to the PC which is why you are getting that error.
I recommend you go on eBay search by the HP power supply part number and buy a used but tested and working genuine HP power adapter that references that part number.
The parts list indicates the PC came with a 128 GB PCIe (NVMe) SSD.
757759-001 | Solid State Drive - M.2, GNRC, 128GB, 2280SS, PCIE, EC0 |
So any M.2 NVMe SSD should work.
A SATA M.2 SSD will most likely not work.
