Good day! I have a HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p010 with Intel I7- 7700t , 1 ssd , a 2.5 drive and 16 mb of ram. With the end of Win 10 end of life on October 2025 and this desktop is not compatible with Win 11, I am considering installing Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on the same. Will there be any problems with install ? its sad to throw away a perfect working desktop.

Hi:

 

I can't answer your question regarding Ubuntu, but there is no need to toss out a perfectly good PC because it doesn't meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements.

How to install Windows 11 24H2 on Unsupported PC (Early Access) 2024 (youtube.com)

 

Download the W23H2 ISO file and use that (3rd option).   

 

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

 

24H2 hasn't been released to the public yet. and if you don't have a W11 PC, you can't get the 24H2 Beta version.
