Product: HP All-in-One - 24-e014

I am attempting to update my Graphics card (Intel(R) HD Graphics 620) but running the HP Support detection gives me many different drivers to choose from and not just one specific one, as I would think detecting would indicate.  How do I know which one to pick?  None of them indicates this is for Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 card.  Can't find an area in support to input Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 to download that specific driver or update for that specific driver. Frustrated!!

From what I remember, you just need to click on Next without selecting a specific device.

 

"Click on Have Disk and browse to the unzipped graphics driver folder>Graphics>iigd_dch (setup information file), click Next, and the driver should install."

 

That file has driver support for the below listed graphics adapters.

Hi, Jeff:

 

It appears that the most recent Intel graphics driver update for your PC is this one:

 

Driver - HP All-in-One - 24-e014 | HP® Customer Support

 

You should be able to manually update the graphics driver to the latest version by following the guidance in the knowledge base article I wrote at the link below.

 

Manually Updating the Latest HD Graphics Driver from Intel..... - HP Support Community - 7185608

 

You would update the driver found in the Graphics_Gen9_Gen11 driver folder.

Thank you for assisting.  When I got to the step to select the driver from the Graphics_Gen9_Gen11 folder the iigd_dchfile did not contain an HP Graphics Card 620 selection.  Selectable was: 

Server GPU SG-18M

UHD Graphics

UHD Graphics 710

UHD Graphics 730

UHD Graphics 750

UHD Graphics 770 

UHD Graphics P750

I checked a couple of other setup information files, but none listed the HP Graphics Card 620.  I am thinking I missed a crucial step in your directions, but can't figure out where.  Suggestions?

You recollected correctly.  That work!  I was able to update my Graphics Driver.  Thank you for your assistance. 

Unfortunately, updating the driver didn't fix my issue.  The support team for Family Tree Maker lead me down this path to update my Graphics driver because they believed that was the reason, I couldn't synchronize FTM with Ancestry.com.  So, after many hours spanning days, I finally was able to update the driver only to find it wasn't the issue.  Still can't connect.  On the positive side though,  I thoroughly cleaned my computer hoping it was something other than the Graphics Driver I couldn't update, and my computer starts up and appears much faster than it was.  🙂

Sorry, that updating the driver to the latest version did not help with the problem you are having with FTM.

 

I still am using the old FTM version 2006 on my W11 PC, but I don't connect to the internet with it.

 

It probably can't.  😊
