@AWII,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Short answer: no.

Your HP 280 G4 Microtower Business PC according to: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06067769, has either a 180 watt or 310 watt power supply.

According to: https://www.palit.com/palit/vgapro.php?id=4488&lang=en&pn=NE63050019P1-190AF&tab=sp, the "Minimum Recommended System Power" a Palit GeForce RTX 3050 StormX 8GB needs, is stated at 550 watt.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

Even if I changed the power supply to 550 watt and what about this one Palit GeForce® GTX 1650 StormX 4GB GDDR5 128bit? Its power 300 watt

@AWII,

Yes.  Your motherboard is ATX-power enabled (see: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06067213.pdf), meaning that you can exchange your PSU with any industry standard ATX power supply, as long as you check out the physical ATX PSU dimensions (LxHxW) to see if it will fit.  Therefore, if you swap your existing power supply with (at least) a 550 watt ATX power supply which should be equipped with an 8-pin PCIe power cable, you are good to go with an RTX 3050.

The Palit GeForce GTX 1650 StormX 4GB GDDR5 (https://www.palit.com/palit/vgapro.php?id=3237&lang=en&pn=NE51650006G1-1170F&tab=sp) specifies a minimum recommended system power supply of 300 watt, so you would be fine with your 310 watt PSU.

Hope this was helpful.
