I am trying to put in a new processor to my HP Omen. The more I read on the matter the more confused I get. I'm not sure what the port size is and there seems to be only select processors that will work with the bios? I'm not sure, I'm pretty new to this. Would love any help I can get.

@Watermelophant,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

Your HP Omen 30L GT13-1365xt (33V38AAR), as per: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=33V38AAR, and: https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c08198875, as fitted with an HP OasisOC motherboard (SSID: 886C).

The fastest processor compatible with your motherboard would be an i9-11900K or i9-11900KF.

Here is a complete list of all compatible chipset Z590 processors.

Kind Regards,
