Hi,

I am wanting to upgrade my current desktops CPU, we originally purchased it in 2017 but can't update to windows 11 as it doesn't meet the requirements. 

Currently it is running an AMD A8-9600 RADEON R7, 10 COMPUTE CORES 4C + 6C 3.10GHz

Hi:

 

Your PC's motherboard cannot support an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or newer processor which are the minimum processors that meet Microsoft's W11 processor requirements and there are no W11-supported motherboards that will fit in your PC's case.

 

You can do an in-place upgrade from W10>W11 on your PC as is, but you will have to use a workaround that bypasses the W11 hardware checks.

 

I found the method shown in this video to be the easiest way to do the in place upgrade to W11:
