Hi. I have a HP Desktop M01-F2254 and want to upgrade my graphics card and power supply to edit videos.  Would I be able to install a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or 3070 and a 500 watt power supply?  My computer came with a 12th Generation Intel® Core™ i3-12100 processor(2b) Quad-Core and  a 180 W Gold efficiency power supply. If this is possible, please provide the part numbers or specs that would be compatible for my computer. Please also advise if there are other graphics cards that would be better suited. I'm trying to avoid stressing the machine out. Thank you.

@luckycharms808,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

You can upgrade the power supply for your HP Desktop M01-F2254 with the follow two power supplies:

1.) 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800 or 942332-001

2.) 500-watt power supply with p/n: 901759-013

I would recommend a smaller-sized dual fan) RTX 4060 such as this $340 purchase example via Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-GeForce-DisplayPort-Axial-tech-Technology/dp/B0D6CYLHW1/ref=sr_1_5?dib=e....

The RTX 4060 can be powered by a 400-watt power supply, but having a 500-watt power supply would be ideal.

You can buy the 500-watt power supply online, such as this purchase option via a trusted eBay Seller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/314525580056?_skw=901759-013%C2%A0&itmmeta=01JNY8FYZ8Y4N1CV3G4912XH5J&hash=....

Kind Regards,
