Pavilion 23-b205er
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have fried GPU so instead of getting a replacement for it, can i upgrade it to a newer one, since it on MXM module?

So with CPU, i already change it to i3-3210 and it works, kinda at least. (i think its dying, because it from my older pc) But can i install something more powerful like quad-core and 65-77w TDP without upgrading my heat sink?

Welcome to HP support community.

I'm afraid HP neither recommends nor supports changing the processor of your device as it may render the device unstable due to incompatibility among other components of your device.

Cheers.
