Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Firstly I must say.. I have never upgraded a PC. Always brought pre-made. My PC runs perfectly. No issues. Just that the stock GPU isn't good enough to run my latest game (Planet Zoo) I'm hoping to be able to upgrade to the recommended GPU - AMD Radeon RX 580 or similar. As the HP meets all other requirements.I also really like my PC and only want to buy a new PC as a last option. The HP Desktop's PSU is max 300W so would have to upgrade power supply for the GPU.

But my questions are:

Is it possible to upgrade the GPU and Power supply of my HP?

Thank you for any help..

@ALTyers,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to whether you can upgrade the graphics card and power supply on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that your computer has 3 expansion slots mentioned below and you can install any graphics card which supports the expansion slots available.

  • One PCI Express x16 (Gen 3.0)
  • Three PCI Express x1 (Gen 2.0)
  • One PCI Express half-length mini card

You can also, upgrade the power supply based on the requirement of the graphics card.

Please refer to the below link for the motherboard specifications.
