Upgrade GPU on HP Z2 Tower G4

Hi,

So I have an HP Z2 G4 tower and here is the description:

- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU

- Nvidia Quadro P2200

- 32 GB RAM

- 1 x 512GB NVMe, 1 x 1TB SSD

- PSU 500w

I'm using this PC for general uses but would sometimes use it for playing games too.

Can the graphics card be upgraded with this one?: GeForce GTX 1070 TI

Is a 500w power supply gonna be enough for it? if so how to change it and remove the GPU support bracket?

Yes, but this model supports much better graphics cards, see page 10 of the manual.

unfortunately, the GPU that I checked in the list is quite over the budget I planned so I might stick with the GPU that I planned.

However is there a video guide for removing the GPU card (with a support bucket on it) for the Z2 Tower G4 Workstation?  I would appreciate it since I don't want to break it up accidentally.

You only have to remove the screw that holds it to the chassis and remove the graphic card from the slot, that's all, then you can put another one if you wish in the same way.
