I ordered a new RTX 3060ti GPU to replace the GTX 1650 in my HP ENVY Desktop TE01-1165t computer. Nvidia specs recommends 600w PSU for the RTX 3060ti GPU having a power consumption rating of 200w. My only PSU upgrade option with HP is their 500w unit for my motherboard and case. Unfortunately, HP parts store does not have them available as they have been on backorder for a long time. Would I damage any of the PC's components if I used the 400w PSU currently installed until the 500w units become available? My primary program is Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2020. Thanks for your comments and help.

Thank you for your comments. It appears I should hold off installing the RTX 3060ti GPU until I'm able to upgrade my PSU from 400w to 500w as my CPU is an Intel 5i-10400. I will continue to search alternate sources for the HP L05757-800 500w power supply. Again, thanks for your help...

Even though NVIDIA and other sources recommends a 600 watt minimum power supply for your graphics card (such as here: Choosing the Best PSU for Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU (techreviewer.com)), other sources claim you could sneak by with a 400 watt PSU: https://www.whatpsu.com/psu/gpu/NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-3060-Ti#:~:text=The%20minimum%20power%20supply%20..., though it would definitely be preferable to have at least a 500 watt power supply (the HP L05757-800).
This power supply is available, though expensive, through other vendors, such as these:
https://www.impactcomputers.com/l05757-800.html and: https://parts-hq.com/shop/l05757-800-power-supply-psu-500w-849944.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
