@hilesten,

Yes, an HP BakerMS (SSID: 8768) motherboard is compatible with an RTX 4060 graphics card.  This card can be powered by a 400-watt power supply with p/n: L69242-800, which is equipped with one 6+2-pin PCIe power cable, which you'll need to power an RTX 4060.

@hilesten,

Just to doublecheck: what model desktop do you have, and what is the part number and wattage of your current power supply.

@hilesten,

Sorry, there are similar discussion threads going on at the same time!

A 310-watt power supply should be able to power an RTX 4060, such as this model, powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable.

Yes, an RTX 4060 requires an 8-pin PCIe power cable, but it will never have to deliver anywhere close to the 150-watt.  Your PCIe x16 graphics slot can provide up to 75-watt of power, and that leaves (115-75) only 40-watt for the PCie power cable.

So, given the PCIe power connector's low wattage requirement to power an RTX 4060, you could use a dual SATA 15-pin to 8-pin PCIe power adapter cable, such as this purchase example.

Not ideal, but this should work.  The better power option would be to get the 400-watt power supply as mentioned which is equipped with an 8-pin PCIe power cable.
