Bit of a long shot I know, but have an HP p6710f with a 620887-001 motherboard that I want to update so I can move to Windows 11. Easier to buy a new desktop, but would like to build a new pc using the old case if possible. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe this is your motherboard and it is a standard uATX size. I do not know if the power supply in your case can be upgraded easily. Our upgrade expert @NonSequitur777 might be able to recommend upgrades to the existing motherboard or suggest a replacement.
You can install windows 11 either the full version or the tiny version on your existing motherboard. let me know if you want to do that. Currently, win11 does not expire if you do not buy it, you just have to put up with a reminder.

Thanks for the quick reply! I may take you up on the load up of 11 on my existing setup but I want to try to update if possible - always wanted to build a pc and now that I'm retired, I have the time to do it. I will check in with @NonSequitur777 and see what he says. If that is a no-go, I will reach out. Thanks again.

Good to hear from you!
The "Alvorix" motherboard is a standard 24-pin ATX (uATX) enabled motherboard, so any industry standard ATX power supply should be able to power it. The motherboard's white 4-pin CPU power connector (labeled: PU521) also fits with a (4-pin split) ATX CPU power cable.
And speaking of upgrades, based on this table, the OP's stock Athlon II 640 should be able to be upgraded to a Phenom II X4 850 (4-Cores, 4-Threads, 3.30 GHz, 95-watt TDP).
Kind Regards,
