HP EliteDesk 800 G3 desktop mini PC (65W)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can I upgrade my HP EliteDesk 800 G3 desktop mini PC (65W) with a Samsung 870 EVO 4000GB, 2.5" hard drive. The technical information only talks about 2000GB.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Yes, you can install a 4TB 2.5" SSD from your preferred brand.

The service manual only mentions drives the PC could have come with. Furthermore, the old mechanical drives, if larger than 2TB, are much thicker and might not fit. The SSD will have the same thickness independent of capacity.

So, in short, yes you can.

Hope it helps,

David
