@mviti,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

Your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2170m CTO (3V2Z3AV) is either fitted with an Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643), or an Erica6 motherboard (SSID: 8906) -please check by typing in System Information in your Windows search bar, clicking on the System Information App, and looking to the right of "Baseboard Product".

If you got an Erica motherboard, the best compatible processor would be an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, and if you got an Erica6 motherboard, the best available processor would be an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G.

Of course, other upgrades (RAM, GPU, drives, etc.) are also possible, but first let me know exactly what motherboard you got.

Kind Regards,

@mviti,

All right: your HP Pavillion Gaming Desktop either got a 400-watt power supply with p/n: L69242-800, or a 310-watt power supply with p/n: L89232-001 -please verify which one you got.

There is an HP 500-watt power supply upgrade available for your PC, with p/n: L05757-800, which you can purchase online, such as via a Trusted eBay Seller.

Please let me know what power supply and what graphics card you got, and if you want to upgrade your power supply.

Kind Regards,
