Hey, guys, need your help.
I have all-in-one HP TouchSmart 610-1020 as my desktop for about 10 years. And now it works very slowly. I did everything I could with the software, and looks like it's time to change the drive. I already changed the DVD to SSD in my laptop and got a great result. So, I want to leave the current 2 TB disk as storage and change unusable DVD with SSD. Will SSD (with adapter) work in the slot for DVD?
Does anyone have such experience?
Thank you in advance!

I do not have the product number for your unit, so I am unable to lookup the DVD drive to determine what connectors are used. But, as the DVD drive is removed by sliding it out, the connector (SATA data and power) must molded and attached to the motherboard. You would need to know what is used internally.
The Upgrade and service manual and a video.
