Hello, does anyone know whether upgrading the above mentioned system with a Nvidia Rtx 4090 is possible?

you must give more information, in particular the exact model of the computer, not the series
possibly a link of the chosen graphics card

you already have a very good graphics card
you may have to wait a bit the prices will definitely change
but given the number of topics here, where this type of computer, seems famous, for overheating, I don't know if that's a good thing
anyway, you have to check against the chosen model, which is necessary, if you have the space as can be seen on the Nvidia site
