Hello,
I'm new to the community so I don't know if this question already has been asked before. The point is, I use the Desktop (i5 and 6 GB RAM, Harddsik 7200 RPM) frequently for recording music with a DAW. For loading applications the Hard drive is constantly working overtime ;-), and my question is, can I install a SSD card on the PCI-e slot, for faster processing? Thanks for your reactions.

Hello
The easiest way would be to go through a "conventional" SAta SSD, the motherboard has 4 SAta ports
I am not sure it is possible in PCI here!
I could do research for the PCI, but since I don't speak English very well it seems rather complicated
I had already done research in French, and the results were already numerous, without certainty
I installed a sata SSD in my pc, it's already a big gain
I also used the scan:
Motherboard Specifications, H-CUPERTINO2-H61-uA TX (Cupertino2)

Hello
Sorry but I answered the question, the model is already indicated, no need for more!
The P / N just confirms what I found!

I see that your own answer is marked, an error then?
Can we validate the answer that I gave finally?

Hello Prométhée,
I think it's my fault, that the answer already was marked. I will upgrade the HP with internal SSD SATA card. This should increase the speed of the processing enough to record music and load vst's in the daw.
Thank you for your help!
