HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000i (1K4B7AV)

I'm looking to upgrade the Power supply on the following PC

HP Pavilion TP01-2029 with the Stark 8860 A (SMVB) motherboard.

Is there an option for a 500 watts PSU?

@ggirf14,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Yes, you got a 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800 as an option.

You can purchase one of these power supplies online, such as via Amazon or eBay.

Kind Regards,

Thanks for your input. It was not easy to identify the correct psu. This psu is the largest that will fit in this case but it looks like the case was built for it as the locking tab still hold the new one in place, the predrilled holes are perfectly aligned for the wider psu, it fills the space with 1-2 mm clearance for the internal sheild. With the largest GPU (video card) the case allows it draws 325 watts (total for the system) when the gpu is running @ 99% and using 150 watts. Sad to see the lack of information from HP official source. On a side note I am running 64 Gb ram for two years,  HP states (still today) that this system is limited to 32.

I feel there is more support from the community than from HP.

@ggirf14,

I am glad it is working out for you!

Yes, let's say that HP's support is not as good as we would like.

Anyway, every legit secondary RAM/storage source indicates that 2 x32GB is the TP01-2029 RAM limit, such as: https://www.crucial.in/compatible-upgrade-for/hp/pavilion-tp01-2000i, and: https://www.mrmemory.co.uk/memory-ram-upgrades/hp/pavilion-desktop/tp01-2000i?srsltid=AfmBOooQyCbykD....
