@Cleocatfire,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

An HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-2049 (575L5AA) as fitted with an Erica6 (SSID: 8906) motherboard, and according to: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=575L5AA, likely got one (1) 8GB RAM stick with HP p/n: L98133-002 "MEM, UDIMM 8GB DDR4-3200 1.2v NECC", leaving one RAM slot open (please verify).

What you asked for then, is a single 8GB DDR4 PC4-25600, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM, 288-pin RAM stick.

Preferably, both RAM sticks should be the same brand and model, but this purchase example via Amazon-Canada should do: Timetec 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz (p/n: 76TT21NUS1R8-4G), as sold here: https://www.amazon.ca/Timetec-PC4-17000-Unbuffered-Notebook-Computer/dp/B07B44PJCM/ref=sr_1_50?crid=....

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

Thank you. The link sends me to a 32 Gb product. Would this be too much? Is more better given that there is likely only one slot to upgrade?

@Cleocatfire,

No, it doesn't:

Even though the Seller did a poor job in providing all the correct specs, the pricing is consistent for one 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM stick.
