I have a Compaq CQ5504F desktop, S/N 4CE0260XJ9. It has a 64 bit motherboard and runs Windows 10 Home. It currently has 3GB of RAM. I would like to increase the amount of RAM. How much RAM with the motherboard support and where can I get the correct RAM chips? I believe I need DDR3 1333MHz DIMM PC3-10600 PC3-10600U 2RX8 CL9 1.5v (240 PIN) Non-ECC Unbuffered Desktop Memory RAM Modules. These come in 4GB chips. The motherboard has 2 RAM slots. Will the motherboard support 2 of these 4GB RAM chips?

Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs for your PC.
You can find the memory upgrade info on that link.

Looks like the most you can install is 2 x 2 GB, so you would just need to remove the 1 GB chip and install a 2 GB chip in its place to max it out.
Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your model.
You may want to buy the 2 GB memory module from Crucial since they advertise that they guarantee compatibility.
