Hello! I've had this PC for around 7 years now, maybe even 8 and it runs fine for the most part. All I've done to it is upgraded the memory to 16gb a few years ago. That said, I've noticed more and more that when playing games, I have to lower the graphics quality more and more. Is there an upgrade I can buy that will allow me to play games on a better quality setting? I'm not looking to play on Ultra or anything, but middle quality would be nice. What info do you need to help me out? Thanks a bunch!
Edit: This is my computer, the right product number https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c03516171
Can I upgrade to this graphics card? Will it make much of a difference? https://www.visiontek.com/radeon-7750-2gb-gddr5-6m-6x-minidp.html

Yes, UEFI is the modern BIOS.
The CPU chip is an I-7 3770 and that is the fastest I7 it can handle, so it is below standard for WOW.
No sense adding a 600W PSU and a GTX 1660 to that CPU.
Here is the complete specifications for the new unit.
It has 4 slots, 2 are occupied. Two 8GB modules = 16GB on board.
World of Warcraft based on that new unit> Exceeds CPU requirement Exceeds GPU requirement

You really need to specify 2 games that you really want to play at medium to high quality. There is no sense to making a marginal increase in quality and still not attain your goal. Another limiting factor is the I7-3770 CPU chip.

While I realize you have BIOS version 8.x, would you placate me? Run this. And report back the BIOS mode?
I ask because both those cards are pre-March 2012.

It says UEFI, does that help? I feel like it was a good investment when I bought it. It was $999, around 7 years ago. I can raid in World of Warcraft on medium low quality. I can play the Tomb Raider games in Steam. I don't expect to play like Doom or something, I guess I'm just wondering if it's worth doing anything with it or just buying something new. I was looking at https://store.hp.com/CanadaStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=3LA97AA&opt=ABL&sel=DTP It's in stock on NewEgg.ca.
Edit about that new PC I linked. I'm not sure about something. It says 2 x 8 for the Ram, that means there are only 2 ram slots, right? Not much room to upgrade?

It sounds like it's not worth putting any money into. Ok. I'll put money into a new PC then. What is your opinion on the one I linked? Does it seem like a good purchase? Seems it to me.
Oh one more question, if you don't mind. The RAM seems to effect price ALOT. So if I purchase a system that has 8 GB of RAM, can I use 2 of my current 4 GB in my system and put them in the new computer as long as it has 4 slots? I don't know if you can keep reusing ram in newer systems.
Thanks for your time, I really appreciate it.
