HP All-in-One 24-f0015na

Hi I have an HP all in one PC, HP 24 f0015 na  and I would like upgrade the RAM from 8Gb to 16 GB. I would like to know if it is possible to do that and how much it will roughly cost me to buy the parts and labour as well?

The following are the specifications:

8GB RAM, 1TB HDD memory, Intel Core i5

Looking forward to your reply. Many thanx.

@DJshockz,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Yes, your HP 24-f0015na All-in-One (4KD18EA) can be upgraded up to 2x16GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks.

Assuming your AIO is fitted with one 8GB RAM stick, your AIO has one empty RAM slot available. One single compatible 8GB RAM stick you could purchase to add to your RAM, would be this Amazon-UK purchase option: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-CT8G4SFS824A-PC4-19200-Single-260-Pin/dp/B01BIWKP58/ref=sr_1_3?dib=....

If, however, your AIO is fitted with two 4GB RAM sticks, then you want to purchase a matching 2x8GB RAM kit like this purchase option also via Amazon-UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Timetec-PC4-19200-Unbuffered-Notebook-Computer/dp/B07CMFZ2KG/ref=sr_1_4?dib....

You can determine whether your AIO has a single 8GB RAM stick or two 4GB RAM sticks using the following method:

Check in Task Manager:

  1. Right-click on the Taskbar and select Task Manager.
  2. Go to the Performance tab.
  3. Click on Memory in the left panel.
  4. Look for the number of "Slots used": "2 of 2" means two 4GB sticks, whereas "1 of 2" means one 8GB stick.

You can upgrade your RAM yourself -just follow this YouTube instructional video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYMqe-hWgBI&ab_channel=It%27sBinh%28Been%29Repaired%26EverythingRevi....

Kind Regards,
