Hi,

I would like to upgrade the CPU and the Video card (Intel HD 4600 graphics) of my All-in-One Desktop PC. Is this possible? This is link for the motherboard: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c04319735

Thank you.

Hi,

As you can see in the specs page you could upgrade the i5, you have, to the i7-4790T

The graphics is integrated in the CPU and will remain the same, HD4600. It is also not possible to install a graphics card.

Hope it helps,

David

You're welcome.

One upgrade I would recommend which would greatly improve everyday performance of the PC is to replace the HDD with a 2.5" SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo or similar. Then install the OS and software on it.

Let me know if you need any further help.

All the best,

David

Hi David,

I am planing to upgrade the processor with Intel® Core™ i7-4790T 2.70GHz and the HDD Samsung EVO-Vnand 860-1TB-Internal 6.35 cm 2.5" Internal SSD.

Just a quick question, is this the HDD which you suggested for upgrade?

Thank you.

Hi,

Yes that is the one. The Samsung 860 Evo is considered one of the best SATA3 SSDs on the market.

You can also take a look at these HP videos which can help with upgrade
