I have a 550W PSU now installed and am wanting to upgrade my graphics card. What are any recommendations? Doesn't need to be the fastest, something in a mid range will work

@Kieran68,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p136 PC (X6G37AA), according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05325362, is fitted with a "Hamar" motherboard (SSID: 81B4), which is ATX-powered enabled.

That means that your 550 watt power supply should at least have one 6+2 (8-pin) PCIe power supply connector.

Without further ado, the following three graphics cards are very competitively priced at the moment, and would fit your "mid-range" criteria:

The ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB @ $190 (needs no additional PCIe power connectors), such as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Geforce-Phoenix-Graphics-PH-GTX1050TI-4G/dp/B01M360WG6/ref=sr_1_13?crid=...

The ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 OC Edition 4GB @ $209 (need a 6-pin PCIe power connection), such as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-DisplayPort-Connector-Resistance-Space-Grade/dp/B08G5CQMJ3/ref=sr_1_6?cr...

The ASUS GeForce GTX 1660 Super Overclocked 6GB @ $306 (needs a 6+2 (8-pin) PCIe power connection, such as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/Overclocked-Dual-Fan-DisplayPort-Graphics-DUAL-GTX1660S-O6G-EVO/dp/B07ZHWQ81N...

Hope this was helpful.

@Kieran68,

Here are three more mid-range graphics cards options.  Whatever you pick in the end, make sure your PSU has the required PCIe power cable(s) available, and check the GPU's dimensions (LxWxH) to make sure it fits in your case.

The ZOTAC Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 6GB @ $270 (needs a 6+2 (8-pin) PCIe power connection), such as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-192-bit-Graphics-ZT-T16600K-10M/dp/B07XV7FNR2/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2...

The Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 2060 6GB @ $298 (requires one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe power connectors) such as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/Zotac-ZT-T20600H-10M-scheda-Video-GeForce/dp/B07QC8RSZB/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3QSXK...

The ASUS GeForce RTX 2060 Overclocked 6GB @ $340 (requires one 6+2 (8-pin) PCIe power connection), such as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Overclocked-Dual-Fan-DisplayPort-DUAL-RTX2060-O6G-EVO/dp/B07R18TH1X/ref=...
