Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to upgrade the RAM memory of the pc.

Currently I have DDR4-2666 PC4-21300 MB/s 8Gb.

Can I add any DDR4 16Gb (so total 24Gb)? WIll that seriously increase performance?

@Michelvb

It has two DDR4 UDIMM's and only supports 4 GB and 8 GB DDR4 UDIMMs therefore total is 16GB max. And 16GB is better than 8GB but you may not see much difference under normal conditions.

Regards.

Your motherboard Supports up to PC4-21300 (DDR4 2666) but you can get 2x8 2666 CL14 higher memory speed can improve performance

@Michelvb,

According to Crucial, your inquiry is here.   It is CL19.     Crucial only lists what works.

In the HP documentation I found that it also supports 32Gb with 2x16Gb (win 64-bits).

So I assume 16Gb+8Gb won't do much... then it's better to have 2x8Gb or 2x16GB

@Michelvb,

Where did you find such "In the HP documentation I found that it also supports 32Gb with 2x16Gb (win 64-bits)".

The HP support page only states 4 and 8 GB modules. No where does that page state 32GB total.

Although Crucial does state 32GB, there is an "*"  (notation) Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory !!!
