Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I would like to upgrade the RAM memory because the PC is too slow.

I've found these informations, but I dont know if the tow sockets are already used.

Do I have to change the RAM memory or I can extend it ?

Which Crucial Memory (found here) do you recommend to install in that case ? 2x8 or 16

Could you please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs page for your PC.

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05951583

It came with 1 x 4 GB according to the specs, so it has one empty memory slot to add a second memory module.

If you click on the motherboard specs, you can actually upgrade to 2 x 8 GB of memory if you remove the 1 x 4 GB memory module.

Here is the link to the Crucial memory report for your PC.

I would get one of the memory module part numbers they recommend.

If you want to buy the Crucial memory on Amazon, enter the part number you are interested in the Amazon search window and see if you can buy it for less than Crucial sells it for.
