Pavilion 570-p078a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'd like to upgrade my HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p078a

Lubin motherboard

Intel Core i7-7700

NVIDIA GeForce GT730 (4GB)

Am I able to upgrade the graphics card, the processor, the memory, the power supply etc?

I'm happy to purchase a new case in order to make this happen. If anyone can point my in the right direction, that'd be great.
Is my best option to buy a whole new computer, or get a new motherboard?

Thanks

@blobs85 , welcome to the forum.

Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer.  If you look at the sections titled Processor/Processor upgrade information and Memory/Memory upgrade information, you will see that the processor and memory are at the maximum.  The space for the video card appears to be limited to a single slot.  This will limit the power of the card that you can install.  You can measure the space to see if there is enough space for a dual slot card.  It won't do any good to upgrade the power supply unit (PSU) based on this information.

The one upgrade that will give you some performance increase is a M.2, SSD.  There is a socket available for one.  As for buying a new computer, you will have to make that call.  If you decide to buy one, I will be glad to help you choose one that will meet your needs.
