hello HP comm, how are we all?

I need some help, please. I have 

HP ProDesk 400 G5 Small Form Factor PC and want to upgrade that to SSD and keep the HDD in the PC too. 

Can I remove the disk drive/optical drive instead and insert the SSD in the same slot?

The service manual states a 2.5"  drive and a 3.5" drive reside in the same bay, see pg 32.

If you have a spare laptop drive, try sliding it atop the 3.5" hard drive.
