Hello,
I have a HP Pavilion 570-POXX, can I upgrade the motherboard with something that can hold a betterCPU?
I can’t upgrade to windows 11 because of the cpu that I have.
All of the CPUs upgrades for this computer aren’t compatible with windows 11.
Can I buy a newer motherboard from HP and up date it that way? or what are my options?
Thank you in advance.

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Your HP Pavilion 570-p013wb Desktop PC (Z5L86AA) as per: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05556786 and: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05382582, is fitted with a Lubin motherboard (SSID: 82F2) which happens to be ATX 24-pin enabled, meaning, you can -should- replace the anemic stock 180-watt PSU with a 650+ watt industry ATX power supply -just watch any ATX PSU's dimensions (LxHxW) for fit inside your desktop case.
Also, you can upgrade your desktop with an i7-7700 and very likely the i7-7700K (and Xeon E3-12xx v6 processors) too, like I did when I upgraded these legacy desktops: HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF and HP Z240 SFF:
Please note: the i7-7700K may require you to upgrade one or two cooling fans: this processor runs hotter because of its higher TDP. But in my opinion -at least gaming-wise, absolutely worth-it.
Also, you can upgrade your RAM up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, UDIMM, 288-pin RAM sticks as per: HP - Compaq Pavilion 570-p013wb | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com.
The point is your desktop in my opinion is highly upgradeable. So-what if Microsoft says that 7th gen Intel processors "aren't compatible with Windows 11", because it is a breeze to make it W11 compatible: follow these steps in this link: https://dongknows.com/steps-for-windows-11-upgrade-on-unsupported-hardware/, and your HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p013wb will run just fine, as this 570-p0xx Lubin motherboard (SSID: 82F2) User shows: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/51394117.
Speaking of UserBenchMark Users, take a look what you could do with your desktop once you upgrade your power supply: UserBenchmark: HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p0XX Compatible Components:
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
