I would like to install a Radeon RX 580 Graphics card. It doesn't look like there is a power cable available with the right number of pins. Do I need to get a new power unit? And if so, how much power does the system need. The graphics card needs 185W.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Let's cut to the chase. According to the specs, your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C9AV) is fitted with a 180-watt power supply with p/n: L81008-800 "Power Supply - 180W ENT20 Gold" -please verify and report.
An RX 580 requires a 500-watt power supply with one 8-pin PCIe power cable.
There is a compatible 500-watt power supply available for your PC, with p/n: L05757-800.
You can purchase one of these online, such as via this trusted eBay Seller: HP Power Supply 500w 800/880 G3 Z2/800 G4 901759-003/013 model DPS-500AB-32 A | eBay.

I believe the Radeon requires 185W according to the specifications, and a 6 pin PCI. And I believe you are correct about the current power supply of 180W. So the current system can at most be using180W, if you add 185W for the new graphics card, a 500W unit would be sufficient, agree with you there.
1) Do you by any chance know if the PSU you found, has the right connection cable (I believe it is called PCI for the graphics card), can't quite tell from the picture, it looks like the first picture has something with 6 pins.Something with 6 pins or 6 boxes. My current PSU does not have that.
2) Also, would you by any chance be able to recommend anything from Amazon?
After doing some more research, it looks like this has the right connection, and I can't find anything like this one on Amazon. And if my Math is correct, 180W (current consumption) + 185W (for the new card) = 365W, so the 500W from this PSU should be more than enough. I will give this a try, thank you so much for your help.

The 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800 is equipped with one 6+2-pin (8-pin) and one 6-pin PCIe power cables.
Yes, you could purchase one of these power supplies via Amazon (like this purchase option), but they can be purchased for less via eBay.
