HP Pavillion 590-p0100na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to fit a Nvidia gt1030 2gb into an hp pavillion 590-p0100na.

It has a 180w power supply and what I heard, the lincs motherboard doesn't even support the full 75w power through the pcie x16 slot, howver the card only requires 30w max and other hp computers with a 180w psu have the gpu installed such as the  HP Pavilion TP01-1011na. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

@steve_or_47,

Maybe you need to listen less to "what you heard" !

The HP 590-p0001na is very similar to your unit, and boasts the GTX 1050 (75W) on the180W PSU.

A GTX 1050 is far superior to the GT 1030.

@Wb2001

Do you think it's possible to fit a gtx 1050ti single fan?

CAUTION:  The GTX 1050Ti comes in 2 versions.  Some require 6 pin PCIE power, which you do not have.  Check the card specs with the vendor site ot NewEgg site.  Fitting: If the card length allows it to drop into place.
