OMEN 25L Desktop GT11-1000a (ID 1Z1B6AV)

I upgraded from ryzen 5 5600g to a 7 5700X3D, and now i have this annoying stutter and basicly can't do anything.

Now when I checked the CPUs that my motherboard supports, i didn't find the 7 5700X3D.

Can I fix this or should I refund the CPU and go for the ryzen 9 5900X?

My MoBo is B550 hana 8876.

Since the processor you installed is not listed as a supported processor, I recommend you return it and install one of the supported processors listed on your PC's motherboard specs page:

Hi!

I changed the CPU to the 5900x, it sort of fixed the problem.

Now i have the stutter only while i'm not playing any games or putting any stress to the CPU.

It works fine when CPU is under load for example when stress testing.

The games run great and everything, but when i'm not gaming everything starts to lag, screen is like 5fps and sounds bug.

It stutters/lags way less than with the 5700X3D, but still I basically can't do anything else than play games.

Hi:

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know why that is happening after you installed a supported processor.

Does your PC have the latest BIOS revision installed (F.21)?

I have latest bios and drivers and everything. Should I try CMOS reset or something? If it doesn't help, I guess I'll just give up and deal with it maybe later.

You can try a CMOS reset but don't get your hopes up.

That's very perplexing that the PC is not working correctly when the specs indicate that the 5900x is supported.

You might have to settle on the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor which at least would be a slight improvement over the original one.

I think I'll just keep this because I use my pc mostly for gaming.

Its just weird that the pc works only when CPU is under load.
