Recent upgrades recommended by HP failed to install, no explanation has been given. What do I do now?

 

Intel Rapid Storage technology Driver

Installed separately but never completed, cogs just kept on spinning indefinitely.

 

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics EUFI

HP Windows hardware Diagnostics

Installed together but advised at the end of the process that this had failed but no reason given

@bigal58 , welcome to the forum.

 

I suggest that you update your HP Support Assistant to the latest version here.  Then, delete the updates and wait for them to appear again.  I have had this happen several times lately and this is what I do.  Normally, the next time the updates appear they install without any problems.  These updates are not critical to the safety of your computer.
