Hi Paul, 

 

Unfortunately I don’t have another pc with the LGA 775 to test it in. I only have other computers with socket748, & LGA1155. 
 I too am wondering if the 945 is DOA. 

I will try and get a QQ 945 and see if that makes a difference and return the current one. 

I am planning to use this computer to play some XP era games. It has the maximum 4GB 667mhz ram and I have fitted a Nvidia QuadroFX380.
