@IDSAU,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

You raised a very interesting question, and one I took some time to research.

As you already stated, an HP EliteDesk 800 G8 Desktop Mini PC (4D9V7PA) can indeed be fitted with an 'optional' Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile Card. This is also confirmed here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07367310.pdf, and: https://www.amd.com/system/files/documents/hp-elitedesk-805-g8-dm.pdf.

The part number for this card* is: M11555-001 "SPS-PCA DGPU OPTION BOARD", and the power supply that comes with this option is a 180-watt unit, with p/n: L56595-001 "SKO-180W ADPTR, PFC, SMART 7.4mm".

But wait, you would also need the accompanying GPU heatsink/fan combo, with p/n: M56182-001 "SPS-ASSY DGPU Heatsink and Fan ENT21 DM".

There are few HP EliteDesk 800 G8 Desktop Mini PC's fitted with this 'optional' card, here is one of them: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/?searchtext=5M8Z6EA&searchby=product.

* HP neither confirmed or denied that this p/n pertains to the optional GPU.

The fact that I (probably) provided the part number, doesn't mean you would be able to order one.  Tried as I did, searches for it went nowhere.  What I do know, that if you were to be able to find one of these 'optional' GTX 1660 Ti graphics cards -AND the other parts needed to make this work on your DM, it is going to be eye-wateringly expensive:

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
