I'm trying to upgrade my HP Compaq pro 6300 MT so that I can play some games on as well as utilize 3D modelling software and some graphics software. However I need to upgrade the power supply in my PC so I can use a more powerful graphics card. I have an ATX-850 power supply which I could use, however I need to get an ATX to HP power converter cable but I can't seem to find a reliable cable for sale where customers haven't complained of the wire being wired incorrectly which has led them to a fried motherboard. Does anyone know where I could find a reliable cable? I would very much appreciate if anyone could send me in the right direction.

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
The COMeap power adapter works great. This was one of the power supply solutions for my HP Compaq Pro 6300 SFF upgrade project: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrading-HP-Compaq-Pro-6300-SF....
