Hi, trying to upgrade from the Radeon RX 550 GPU that came with the system. I cannot find the specs for slot dimensions or PSU in the product specs. I paid and called the "HP Friend" and the staff said it was NOT upgradeable. I know that it IS upgradeable. Can anyone help with finding those specs and information on upgrading as well as possible recommendations to GB8 or higher GPU?

You'll have to trust me on this: for this particular (OEM HP PSU) purchase, I would strongly recommend buying either power supply via a trusted eBay Seller rather than Amazon:
1.) New 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800 via eBay: New 400W Power Supply 942332-001 PSU For HP 280 288 285 480 600 680 800 G3 G4 US | eBay
2.) New 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800 via eBay: NEW Power Supply For HP PSU 500W - Envy 795-0003UR Desktop- L05757-800 | eBay

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000i is likely powered by a 310-watt power supply -please verify, and report back.
In order to upgrade your graphics card, you should upgrade your power supply, since most mid- to higher-ranked GPUs require more power and at least one 8-pin PCIe power cable.
It so happens that you can upgrade your power supply with a 400-watt unit, with p/n: L04618-800 or even a 500-watt unit, with p/n: L05757-800. These power supplies are readily available online, such as via eBay. If you are interested, I could give you some Seller recommendations.
With a 400-watt power supply, I would recommend a smaller-sized (two fan) RTX 4060 model, powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as this competitively priced (under $300) purchase example via Amazon: Amazon.com: ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4060 8GB Twin Edge OC DLSS 3 8GB GDDR6 128-bit 17 Gbps PCIE 4.0....
This card will provide insanely better graphics card performance: UserBenchmark: AMD RX 550 vs Nvidia RTX 4060.

Hi Nonsequitur777,
Thank you for the extremely helpful information. This information, as simple as PSU, was not found on the HP site and the "HP Friend" I paid for misinformed me, saying that the system was not upgradeable as it was an integrated graphics card. I opened the computer and can confirm that the PSU is 310W. I also appreciate the upgrade suggestion. I'm assuming that the PSU upgrade to 400w or 500w can also be purchased new from amazon, newegg etc rather than a reseller?
