Hi @kaeo,
Thank you for posting on HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for the First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
As I understand you are looking to upgrade the PC and you would need assistance. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
After reviewing your post, I did go through the Product specifications as well as Motherboard details and found that you have Intel H81 Chipset.
Link for Motherboard specifications - HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Shave-HSW
Looking at this, the processor should be compatible with the other motherboard. as far as the case is concerned, we don't have information which I could provide.
You could as well go ahead and upgrade the Power supply. However, HP does not recommend any upgrade or downgrade of any parts. You could do it at your own discretion.
I hope this information helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.
Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,
It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
