Hi,

Can a HP pavillion 500-119ea series' PSU be upgraded from a 300 watt to a 600 watt PSU?

@MalcolmMcGuirk

Measure the existing PSU. There are depth limits into the case.

 It is rather straight forward. Here is the guide.

Note: Follow the PSU cabling from the PSU.  Only disconnect that which come from the PSU.  Users get tempted to randomly unplug things that will get you in trouble later.

Step 3
Remove the power supply connectors to the motherboard and other system components.
The usual cables to unplug.
1) 24 pin ATX and 4 pin CPU power.
2) SATA power lead to the hard drive and/or DVD drive.
