Hello, I am looking to upgrade my old and still reliable HP Compaq Presario CQ5302F with a 500 watt power supply. It still has the original Bestech power supply. I cannot find a "plug and play" power supply listed. I am a computer novice when it comes to these sort of things. So far I have added memory and a new hard drive. I want to upgrade the power supply first and then put in a new graphics card. Thanks in advance for the advice and suggestions.

That old Compaq CQ5302F is PCIex16 gen1.1 (circa 2005) and as such, is pre modern GPU cards. The BIOS is called Legacy. It can not be upgraded to the newer UEFI v BIOS. The GTX 660 is the MAX GPU you could use. It would require a 500W PSU, like the Corsair CX 500. This is the dimensions of a standard ATX PSU.
