I am considering upgrading RAM on this computer...and I want to know if in your oppinion this kit will be compatible with the motherboard or not...I maked sure that it will have the 2666Mhz speed plug and play/JEDEC spec...and not only with XMP which i know is not compatible with HP motherboards...

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you can max upgrade Ram to 8 GB memory.

Hi Echo_Lake.
My computer is a DESKTOP computer...not a notebook as you stated...
Can you explain what you mean by "Max Upgrade Ram to 8GB memory" the dekstop came with 8GB Samsung Stick....and as I saw in LINCS motherboard specs it supports 16 and 32 GB memory too...
You are confusing me a little

Hi Mike,
Basically what you need is DDR4 -2666MHz
Max 32GB. You can purchase from your preferred brand. Example from Crucial that guarantees its RAM upgrades:

Hope it helps,

Hi David and thanks for your reply!
Well the thing is I wanted to get a brand with lower latencies than Crucial or Samsung stick i am having it right now with CL19...
I am still checking out specs...beucase I dont want to get a kit and use the stock speed 2133.
I found HX426C16FBK2/32 32GB (16GB 2G x 64-Bit x 2 pcs.) DDR4-2666 CL16 288-Pin DIMM Fury kit...CL16...which also states that JEDEC/XMP TIMING PARAMETERS • JEDEC/PnP: DDR4-2666 CL16-18-18 @1.2V • XMP Profile #1: DDR4-2666 CL16-18-18 @1.2V.....so I guess this may work..

Your approach makes perfect sense.
One of your previous messages also explains to me why excellent G. Skill sticks run on HP at only two thirds of their transfer speed. The motherboard must be satisfied with reading in the SPD the only value of timings according to the JEDEC, voluntarily chosen very conservative by G. Skill to ensure that any PC can boot with its products, even at the price of performance far below those for which they have actually been purchased.
As for Echo_Lake, it could be a bot, hence the type of answer, completely off the mark, which you received.
