Solved!

Upgrading a GPU on my all in one.

HP Envy 34c Curved All-in-One Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I purchased a Costco model HP ENVY 34c All-in-One a few years back.  It has some special Costo only modifications I think.  It came with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960a Graphics Card.  I would like to upgrade this card but I am not sure what card will fit.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

@cohen729,

Here is your unit, it is an N0H68AV  (that is a zero in the mix). You did good with a lead.

That is the series, not the exact model number, but enough to get information. The motherboard has a GTX 960m soldered down. Not replaceable, as I did not see any slot for GPU. See picture here.

I then was able to find 2 models with that board, 34-a010 and 34-a090.  They reference a GTX 960a

Discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960A

  • 2 GB dedicated memory (GDDR5)
  • Permanently soldered to the motherboard and is not in card form factor

So, your not able to upgrade the video. Sorry

@cohen729,

Those are a specially designed card for HP.  Would need the exact model number of your unit to begin searching. The following is an inferior card to your GTX 960a, but typical of the design. Example.

Be forewarned that AIO computers are not gamer delight. The original PSU (laptop design) might be the only wattage spec'ed to your AIO.  That would create an  impasse.

Thanks so much,

My PC Product number is NOH68AV.

Is that the model number you're talking about?  I've looked in my "HP Support Assistant" and the only information listed is the product number, product name, and serial number.  I think most of the AIOs from this line have a "b" designator in the name but mine has a "c".  For example "HP Envy 34c" verses "HP Envy 34b".

Thanks,

cohen729
