HP EliteDesk 800 65W G3 Desktop Mini (DM) PC
Microsoft Windows 11

Dear Forum,

As mentioned in my previous HP EliteDesk 800 65W G3 Desktop Mini (DM) PC upgrade project (Solved: Upgrading an HP EliteDesk 800 65W G3 Desktop Mini (DM) PC - HP Support Community - 8679113), it is time to move on and upgrade the "G4" desktop mini.

All the parts for this project either have arrived or are in transit. I am waiting for a barebone HP EliteDesk 800 65W G4 Desktop Mini:

The objective is to fit this mini desktop with an i5-9600K*, 2 x 16GB Timetec DDR4 3200MHz PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, 2Rx8 Dual Rank, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM (will run at 2666 MHz), use the M.2 NVMe SSD from my G3 project (1TB Silicon Power P34-A80) as the primary (boot) drive, and also transfer the secondary SATA SSD (1TB Samsung 870 Evo).

Since the G4 mini desktop has two M.2 NVMe SSD slots, will use one M.2 slot for a fast M.2 NVMe SSD to dual-HDMI graphics card adapter cable to achieve x4 PCIe graphics card data speed utilizing an external graphics card (RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6) through a "V8.5c EXP GDC Beast External PCIE Graphics Docking Station":

* will also transfer my modified 95-watt CPU heatsink.

Kind Regards,
