Hello, I have a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2010 Bundle PC (328K5AA) it has a ryzen 3 5300G and the GPU is a RX5500 4GB GDDR5 dedicated in it. What are some good upgrades I can do to get it up and moving I also replaces the ram from 8 to 32, which boosted it up alot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate it. I'm no PC freak, I'm still kinda new but any help would be awesome.

@Improvmnt,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

According to the specs, your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2010 as fitted with an Erica6 motherboard (SSID: 8906), is powered by a 400-watt power supply (p/n: L69242-800) -please verify and report.

First, a graphics card upgrade. I would definitely recommend looking into a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, which can be powered by a 400-watt power supply, such as this competitively priced model.  The graphics improvement compared with an RX 5500 is very significant: UserBenchmark: AMD RX 5500 vs Nvidia RTX 4060.

Second, I would recommend upgrading your processor with the Ryzen 7 5700G. You can purchase this CPU online, such as via this eBay Seller or this eBay Seller. Shop around, get a feel for what's available, and make sure you don't purchase a defective or "for parts" CPU.

Kind Regards,

Greetings @Improvmnt

Your PC's specs can be reviewed Here

The factory 400 watt power supply installed in your PC should have a 6 pin or 6 plus 2 pin connector to power a higher TDP graphics card. Verify you have this power supply cable and connector type.

Check this Site for some graphics card upgrade options that should be compatible with the installed HP 400 watt power supply or the HP500 watt power supply. This site also shows a HP 500 watt power supply upgrade option (part number L05757-800). Expand "more" below the video for graphics card purchase options.

I can't find your PC's MB specs so it is not possible to suggest any CPU upgrade options. Your MB may be limited to 65 watt TDP AMD CPUs.

Regards
