I’m trying to figure out what power supply I can purchase to facilitate using a gtx 1660 ti in the above mentioned pc. I am struggling to determine which 420w psu will be compatible with the Erica 2 motherboard that comes in this pc. Has anyone done this?

@TheZachMamba,

You need to specify the exact model number so the parts list can be sourced.

@TheZachMamba,

OK, now your assisting in your own search. 😊  Your unit parts are here.

The PSU (power supply) is standard to numerous systems, yet no one has ever fully documented the cables.

I keep asking. According to HP, the PSU is an L08660-800 180W unit. It is known to be shared with the HP 590's, 595's.

1) Unplug the power cord from the back of the unit.

2) Follow the leads from the PSU, it should have two 2x2 plugs and a 7 pin inline plug. IS THERE ANY other plug coming from the PSU ? Maybe a 6 pin labeled p4 that goes to the motherboard ? 😂

3) Now, follow the lead from the DVD drive. There should be a spare SATA power plug, then the cable go to the motherboard. Look carefully, is that a 4 pin socket.  Do not unplug it, just look.

4) No one has ever photographed these new systems, and there are no support documents, as yet.

5) I do not know what the rear of your case looks like.  Screw pattern and PSU fan/exhaust.

Help and I can help you more.

 From what I can glean from the support pages is the PSU in different models.

Look there are two 180W, and three 310W. The 400W is used in by some of the units. Do you follow my references. While the PSU would fit, the bolt patterns are unknown. The 400W does have a PCIE 6+2 plug.  I do know the rear of the case is a problem, as only 1 screw mates with the 590 series, a dremel is needed to modify the exhaust port on the case.

Thank you so much for your help so far. I don’t have the pc yet, it’ll get here hopefully Tuesday, but I’m trying to get the right power supply ordered before it gets here so I can install the graphics card asap. I just want to be sure to order the correct one that will work with both the motherboard and the card.
