I up upgraded my hp envy h8 1414 to max 32 ram as well as to win 10 from win 8. I'm trying to upgrade the video as much as possible, but I am not that savvy. I did put in a NVDA GEFORCE GT 710 2GB card... but I'd like yo go higher. Can anyone give suggestions. My goal is to play Baldurs gate 3 upon its release hopefully this year...
Please advise,
James Solomon

The predicted specs for playing Baldur's Gate 3 are listed here. Your RAM total is fine and way above the recommended specs. The CPU is on the edge as an FX 8100 is recommended. As for a video card the GTX 1050Ti would be a huge improvement. You have a 300W PSU and that is enough to handle the 1050Ti. None of the versions require a power connector except for 1 or 2 of the multi fan cards. If you do not have a power connector for the card just make sure to buy one that does not require it.
