Hello all, I've recently upgraded my HP Elitedesk 800 G4 with i7 8086K (8th Gen) and upgraded the Ram to 64GB (DDR4 2666MHZ PC4-21300). If I was to upgrade the motherboard to (Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero Intel Z390 (Socket 1151) DDR4) would i be able to use upgraded chip and ram to the motherboard? Would be grateful for any feedback

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Long story short: yes, you can. Mind you, you won't be able to fit the Asus motherboard in your HP EliteDesk 800 G4 case, you'll have to purchase a gaming PC case, which you can purchase inexpensively online.
I upgraded an HP EliteDesk 800 G3/G4/G5 SFF, and eventually transferred my i9-9900KS to an Asus Prime Z390-P.
Kind Regards,

Here you go: ASUS Prime Z390-P LGA 1151 Intel Z390 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard | eBay.
Best pricing and all.
