HP Pavilion 590-p0024
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the 590-p0024 computer and love it a lot. A great peice of tech with relieable components and suprisingly great specs that can play most games that I play. However, I've been looking to upgrade the PSU in my system so I can put a dedicated GPU in my system. I want to put a 1050TI in my computer. I have the 16x slot, and enough room to fit the card, All I need is at least 300W, but I wont mind getting more. Just as long as my PSU will be efficient and I wont be drawing more power than necessary.

Thank you to anyone who helps me accomplish my goal.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

The 1050 Ti requires a minimum 300 watt power supply.

Your PC uses a non standard power supply; it does not have a standard 24 pin power connection to the motherboard.

HP makes a higher wattage power supply having the correct motherboard connections:

The 400 watt power supply part number is: L04618-800

You can buy the PSU upgrade at HP Part Surfer (Link).

Regards
