Basically, I want to upgrade my laptop as much as possible so that it can play video games. I own a HP Pavilion Laptop Model ce0502na as shown in the image below:
I have taken the back cover off and have already purchased the maximum ram that my laptop can take which is 16gb.
I would like to also upgrade the onboard intel graphics adapter (I'm not sure what this is or where it is located in my laptop) as this is partly to blame for my laptop not handeling video games so well.
My laptop has an intel core i5 8th generation which I would also like to upgrade to the best possible version that my laptop can take. I know that there is an i9 which is better, but I would like to know which one is the best for gaming (I think might be AMD Ryzen, but I'm not sure if that will fit in my laptop) below is a picture of my laptop taken apart. I've circled it in red where I think the intel core is, but I'm not sure.

- RAM: you've done that
- STORAGE: not help much for games
- CPU and iGPU nothing you can do about that it is NOT upgradable nor replaceable- They are integrated to its sytem board.
All you can do is saving more $$$$ and buy a GAMES mchine.
